Dr. Visit

Noah had his one month check-up today.  The hardest part of the visit was just getting there, since it was the first time I had to get both boys ready and be someplace on my own.  It's definitely easier with Eric here to lend a hand, but we made it to the doctor's office with time to spare.  The good news is Noah is doing wonderfully!

Weight: 9lbs 8oz.

He's gained just over 2 lbs since birth... and that's after losing around a half pound in the first couple of days!  The weight gain is starting to show in his chubby, little cheeks and it's so cute!

He's healthy and growing and the dr was quite happy.  He agreed it sounds like Noah has some reflux issues-- the cause of all the fussiness-- and gave us a prescription to use when Noah's having a particularly bad day.  Today has been a good one... he's eaten well at every feed and had very little crying with it.  But, we'll fill the prescription and use it as needed to keep the little guy happy and pain free.  He  goes back in a month and Andrew will see the doctor as well that trip for his 2 1/2 year check-up.  Gotta love a healthy baby!
